FumeFX 2.0? - jrand - 03-04-2010 So I see little hints here and there about 2.0. Care to drop a carrot? Really excited to see what you guys have up your sleeves! Re: FumeFX 2.0? - sitnisati - 03-05-2010 Well, since release is really close I will just name some new features: - Wavelet Turbulence - Retimer - Final Grid trimming (size minimization) - FumeFX can be source to another FumeFX - Multiple objects support for Object Source - AfterBurn-like controls for Particle Source - Void Source that deletes all channels inside/outside specific region (causes grid to shrink as you want it) - Modifier that affects object's Vertex Color channel based on FumeFX values - Preview Window output path and codec selection - Added even better MXS support I hope that you'll like what's been added to it. Kresimir Re: FumeFX 2.0? - jrand - 03-06-2010 Thanks for the info, sounds fantastic! Some way cool features! 8) That is a pretty nice "some new features" list. I shall wait impatiently with much anticipation
Re: FumeFX 2.0? - sitnisati - 03-07-2010 Thank you. New features should add more flexibility to the workflow and there are few more to come for ver. 2.5. Kresimir Re: FumeFX 2.0? - jrand - 03-11-2010 2.5? So if you don't mind me asking how soon is soon?
Re: FumeFX 2.0? - Bandu - 03-11-2010 I hope "soon" is before Easter ?? Re: FumeFX 2.0? - gakkie - 03-12-2010 some new feature..... oh my god....everything sounds really hot!!! I shall wait impatiently with much anticipation, too
Re: FumeFX 2.0? - Filip Kaczorek - 03-13-2010 But seriously. I'm just setting up a new studio - should I wait with buying FumeFX for a couple of weeks? Re: FumeFX 2.0? - sitnisati - 03-15-2010 I'd say that you're on the safe line to qualify for free 1.2->2.0 upgrade if you purchase it. As a side note - we'll soon have FumeFX 2.0 mental ray shader for Linux as well ! Regards, Kresimir Re: FumeFX 2.0? - jstrob2 - 04-08-2010 Sounds great! Who exactly will qualify for free upgrade? I bought 1.2 6 months ago... Re: FumeFX 2.0? - sitnisati - 04-16-2010 That is still to be decided, but it could be February 1st 2010. Regards, Kresimir Tkalcec Re: FumeFX 2.0? - Eric-S - 04-21-2010 I was wondering for the retimer feature, will this be kind of a slowmotion event? And is there a release date coming soon? Can wait for that version!!, thanks Re: FumeFX 2.0? - sitnisati - 04-23-2010 With Retimer, you can do slow motion and fast forward at user defined, animatable, rates. I am planning to release it within two weeks, and I hope there won't be any critical issues along the way. Kresimir |
