fumefx 3.5.8 maya 2016 sp6 crash on windows 10 pro 1607 - purchase - 08-23-2017
Hi,
On Windows 10 Pro 1607, we've noticed that when creating a simple FumeFX node Maya freezes and then crashes. We haven't seen this behavior on Windows 7 64bit.
Is there a solution to this?

Hello,
Some of our users had similar crashes when FumeFX was loading all present codecs it can find and tries to load lvcod64.dll , which is a QuickCam codec.
The crash happened inside the lvcod64.dll.
If you have this codec inside the windows system32 folder, try to move it.
Also, the following codec can crash as well
Program Files (x86)\Blackmagic Design\Blackmagic Desktop Video\
BMDCodecLib64.dll
BMDCodecMJPG64.dll
The crash occurs within the codec itself and those codecs are knows for this bug.
I hope this is the case.

FYI this applies to FumeFX 4.1.1 with Maya 2018 (on Win10) too and removing "lvcod64.dll" fixed it.
EDIT: it also applies to Maya 2017 and, in case it helps, I think that DLL is installed by a Logitech Webcam.
