but if I look at this, there is an impact from object shape as well. From my settings I´d expect smoke just colour and nothing else ...

Hello,
Thank you for the report - it is confirmend to be a bug.
For a Free flow source, you'd need to set velocities to zero so it won't affect simulation, but even with zero it does.
