I'm afraid that this Arnold version is not supported yet. Current installations support Arnold 6.2.0.1for R20-R25.
We will support Arnold 7 as soon as we resolve few issues.

CPU works like a charm
GPU I get an error:

[c4dtoa] 00:00:01 3669MB ERROR | [gpu] could not create FumeFXArnoldVolume: /FumeFXGPU works via openVDB but a basic sim looks a lot worse as VDB at least with the default settings. I never get the same detail as "*.fxd".

Unfortunately, it seems that 3rd party GPU shaders are not supported for Arnold GPU.
The only way is the .vdb.
