Welcome - sitnisati - 12-20-2006 Dear FumeFX User, We wish you a warm welcome to the official FumeFX support forum! Regards, Sitni Sati - hometime - 12-21-2006 Congratulations on bringing your product to market, Sitni Sati! ![]() Don - Steve Green - 12-21-2006 Congrats Kresimir. A couple of questions. 1. Are there any immediate plans for a demo, Kresimir? 2. Are other plugin developers likely to implement Fusionworks, e.g. HairFX. Or is it restricted to Afterworks plugins? Cheers, Steve - sitnisati - 12-21-2006 Steve Green Wrote:Congrats Kresimir. Hello Steve, We will try to deliver demo version next week, but it does not entirely depend on us. Since holidays will start this weekend, it is more realistic to expect demo version in January 2007. As for FusionWorks, we plan to make it available to all interested developers and we will also provide support for it. Regards, Kresimir - Steve Green - 12-21-2006 Hi there, no worries - I didn't expect it before Christmas, it would be good to get a handle on render/sim times though. Good news about Fusionworks though, hopefully others will pick it up. Cheers Steve - Adso - 12-22-2006 Heya Steve, I think I was the first customer in line to buy it! Got a pressing project that it's perfect for... So far sim and render times have been exceptionally good. The sim preview feature is especially invaluable for tweaking the look of the sim very quickly. So far I'd say most of my time has been spent just getting my head around what's now possible. The only thing I'd say it's currently lacking is more example / sample scenes. But I'm sure they won't be far behind. Cheers, Adam ========== CG Sup. Digital Backlot - Steve Green - 12-22-2006 Ah, it's always good to get job coinciding with a product release. It does look sweet, although I think to get the best out of it I'm going to have to switch to 64-bit. I'm just at that halfway house at the moment, I have one 64 bit machine, but it's the pesky render farm that needs replacing... I'm interested how well it can drive particles, could make for some interesting effects. Cheers, Steve - free4all - 12-22-2006 Congratulations! I have been really looking forward to getting FumeFX for quite some time now. Can't wait to try the demo.

At this moment liquids are not on the schedule - but we cannot completely ignore this possibility. Kresimir |
