One sea, different wakes - Anthony - 01-19-2007 Hi people I'm designing a Harbor with two breakwaters for the harbor entrance. The main usage of a breakwater is of course to break the incoming wakes. What I would like to see in my animation is the harbor with of course the sea, but with higher wakes outside the harbor and smaller wakes inside so I can clearly show to our clients that wakes are being broken. Can I do this with one seasurface? Or do I have to creates two different surfaces with different parameters? Thank you!!!! Anthony - sitnisati - 01-24-2007 Hello Anthony, Maybe you could add some modifier to the DS Surface ? If that does not work, then you'll need to create two different Sea Surfaces. Maybe someone else has a better idea ? Kresimir - Steve Green - 01-26-2007 Well, I guess you could have a vol select on the area inside the harbour, and use a relax/xform scale maybe? Possibly also a bit of noise to make it look a bit different to the open sea. - Steve - Anthony - 01-30-2007 Two sea surfaces was good, the Xform and relax modifiers was even better :-) Thank you for your help!!!!
