Getting rid of hemispherical smoke heads? - emil_vfx - 07-13-2007 Hello evreyone! I simulate some smoke being blown out of a tube, using the Simple Src. Unfortunatelly I alwas have these typical hemispherical mushroom-alike heads in front of the smoke stuff itself and I cannot get rid of it despite all the tweaking. How can I remove that? Thank you! Greets Emil Re: Getting rid of hemispherical smoke heads? - sitnisati - 07-13-2007 Hello, You can try to put a bigger source behind original, that will only serve to create wind and initiate some motion in the grid. Tricks like that should make a difference. In fact, I think the temperature is the cause of that initial mushroom shape. Animate on a few frames the smoke density from 0 to your desired value, and do the same for the temperature. Milwatt |
