It would be great to have 2 new Render Elements that would split the smoke into the Multi Scattering component and the Lighting influence component so when using RGB lighting to get individual light control in comp you could also plus the Multi Scattering RE over the top without having to do two passes.
Just to explain it properly, if you had a render with 3 lights (one red, one green and one blue) lighting the smoke with some nice red/yellow/orange fire with Mutil scattering on the Multi Scattering RE would be like the smoke RE but with the 3 lights turned off and the Lighting Only RE would be as if the Multi scattering is turneed off and the 3 lights are turned on.
Plussed together they would be identical to the Smoke RE.
