boat problem

Hello guys, I am very happy now, because my boat is driving now with the engine. That means, if the setup at first is correct, it's also no problem with the engine.

But now, I am thinking about, how I can steer my boat ?
What do you think guys ?

Do I have to animate the engine ?
Or what do I have to animate, that the boat is driving from Point A accurate to Point B.

Hmm, would be great if someoen has an idea.
