smoke without fire (temperature)

Hi there.

i`m trying to light up a obj-source with fuel but no temperature. to do this i use a simple-source with high temp but no fuel. everything works fine, but my object-source generates
smoke befor it is burning.
how can i prevent this?
can anybody help?
